Weather is freaking hot! It is 42 Deg today...

Last wk was juz alit long and test and quiz juz nv stop coming in! I think I must have done 6 papers at the end of the wk... But i got back my results and they are not too bad! Almost fail one of the paper but thankfully i got a pass.. Damn.. Gona have to study harder for the papers and emer. checks!

Did some cooking and gathering w the course! Was a great nite to juz chill and njoy the company of the people of the course! Food was juz soo home as we have a traditional home cooked meal! Just trying to make it as homely as possible soo that we can all keep the home-sick virus out of the way and consentrate on our studies and duties here! Will post some photos soon... Still trying to figure out this blogging thing!!

Coming Wk, Higher commd and some of the High ranking COs will be coming over for a "VISIT".. Its back to area cleaning and no more monkey business! Althou' we are the most junior course in the SQN, we are to perform juz like anione in the senior course! Dangz... This crap is tough but no one said it was gona be easy! hmm.... Gona have my OFT soon, so gona prepare for pre-flight and checks! One of my fren was telling his gf back home, studing here is like studing for A level all over again and preparing for an entry into the Uni.. awesome!!!

Finally my first entry of my first blog...

Juz done cleaning up of my room and mock test for my test on monday! Soo many test soo lit time...

So here goes with the passed wk ...

Been down under for almost a wk now. Its really a fast and furious experience ever since my touch town at Perth airport. Getting things done, meeting deadlines and remember everyone in the base. Its like back in OCS duration wise and training wise!

Since accommodation is some distance away from the SQN, i have to half march down the chilling road w my guys to the SQN every morning and its like walking from Charlie Wing to Pasir Lebar Boom Gate (Somewhere there lahz).. Yes! Its freaking cold in the morning. Althou' its summer now, the temperature in the morning and night can go towards 10deg or so. I wonder what its like when its winter? hmm.... burr....

Been throu' some briefings of the Do's and Don'ts in base and working orders in SQN. There is soo many things to understand and digest before being able to takeoff, whats more for my graduation. Its like OCS where we have test and lesson plan, juz that its harder and if i dun get the minimum results of the SQN, its OUT i go. DANGZ....

The other day, I was having the fire brief at the fire department. While we were having our hands on in the open field, a PC-9 flew juz right above us at low altitude.. Its a fantastic feeling having a prop. plane flying so close and it remind me of some war movie that i watch before.. give me a weapon and a set of No. 4 and i`m somewhere there...

Mess initiation was on friday night till late late night! Senior course who are still in-charge of the mess cooked for us and instructors. It wasn`t too bad, at less i have not rush to the hospital for food poisoning. Aft a long chat w our dy course comd and course comd, i found out that our comds are really really old sch! Dy course comd have at least went throu 7 diff platforms! With experience, come great advice on how to drink and philosophy on why drinking more can make you starter and think faster! Our "ter-kan" din start till arund 2230 on a friday nite at mess. First round was a self introduction and bottoms up of 2 bottles of beer. Next was a toast to individual course (bottoms up of course) then was to the SQN and instructors and seniors. Games were included and of coz the moment the bottle is open, its bottoms up. If there is any spills, take another bottle and carry on. If we drink slower than the seniors, take another one. Its a never ending story till every single one of us throw out! This is the initiation to the mess of "std's". But nevertheless, everyone was having lots of fun and pretty sporting about the whole initiation. There was lots of red heads going around but none were dead drunk! As the Safety Officer, I'm proud to say that we survive thro the first ordeal.

Next will be the Orientation night, more happy hour and mess nights to come!! Wish me luck on those to pass throu' w ease.

Kina miss the people back home! Specially everyone in Lah-goo-nah beach... Season 4 have juz started and I missed muse concert (dangz...)! But work is work, can`t wait to be home for FTG (Friday Timber Group) and hung out with the guys!
